1964	Born in Xian, Shanxi Province, China
1970	Moved to Beijing.  His parents graduated from the Xian Academy of Fine Arts
1982-86	Studied at the Capital Normal College (now known as the Art College, Beijing Normal University)
1986-91	Graduated from Capital Normal College and taught for the following 5 years at the Beijing Practical Fine Art School
1989	Participated in the First National Landscape Art Exhibition
1991	Participated in the National Youth Art Exhibition organized by Xinhua News Agency
1993	Participated in the Oil Painting Show by Four Artists organized by the International Art Palace (IAP).  In the comments seminar of the exhibition, his paintings Bathroom, Building and Parking Lot were highly praised by the critics. Joined the Beijing Artists Association (BAA)
1996	Exploring the techniques for expression of super-natural atmosphere created by light and shadow.  Focused on a series of Beijing night scenes
1997	Participated in China Art Expo
1997-2001	Exhibitions at Wan Fung Art Gallery, Beijing
2001	The painting Forbidden City Under the Sunset was exhibited in the 10th Anniversary Invitational Art Show organized by the International Art Palace (IAP)

2004	His painting Golden Time was shown in the 55th Chinese National Day Celebration, American Chinese Artists Art Exhibition in Los Angeles, California His painting Spring Time was shown in the exhibition of the 50th Anniversary of Capital Normal University held by China Art Gallery, Beijing.
